The new Birdie is the smallest and lightest cordless riveting tool in its performance class. Weighing only 900 g (without battery), the tool is so light that it can be used for longer periods without fatigue and with maximum ease of use. The balanced centre of gravity and comfortable handles are also of great help. In addition, the tool covers a large working area: with a setting force of 10 kN and a stroke of 25 mm, it can place blind rivets with a diameter of up to 5 mm in all materials. In addition, the 100% ball-bearing components in the drive section and the wear-free BLDC motor ensure extremely fast and precise placement. Other practical features of the Birdie include the integrated light ring, which precisely illuminates the nose piece and rivet point, making riveting possible even in difficult lighting conditions. The Birdie's non-slip stand ensures that you can put it down without it falling over. And with the help of a carabiner, you can hang it on a balancer to keep your hands free while working. Energy recovery allows the Birdie to work longer because every bit of energy is used - braking energy is fed into the battery and made available for further riveting. When the battery is empty, the control system gives visual and acoustic signals to recharge. You can easily clean and replace the jaws and change the nose piece, completely without the need for tools. Colored nose pieces make it particularly easy to match the nose piece to the blind rivet used. To give you the greatest possible freedom while saving resources, the battery of the Birdie comes from the cross-manufacturer Cordless Alliance System (CAS). With CAS, tools for a wide range of applications can be easily combined thanks to uniform batteries and chargers.
